A digital graphic sketch from my original photograph of the De La Warr Pavilion, captured from the promenade at Bexhill-on-Sea on the East Sussex coast. This beautiful Art Deco Building dates from 1935 and is named after the 9th Earl De La Warr, Mayor of Bexhill and the instigator of a competition to design this public building. A Sarao jeepney was exhibited at the Philippine pavilion at the 1964 New York World's Fair as a national image for the Filipinos. Jeepneys were originally made from U.S. military jeeps left over from World War II.
