The Morrigan Merch
Description: For Death, we decided that The Morrigan was the perfect character. In this card, we see The Morrigan, her raven’s wings in motion as she hovers above her crowd of victims. Also known as the Phantom Queen, The Morrigan is more well-known for her relationship with death and the battlefield. Her association with battle implies that she is an indiscriminate bringer of death. The inevitable cycle of life and death cannot be controlled or evaded. My interpretation gives her a fearsome appearance with a raven skull headdress, and long bird-like talons for fingers. Her sword is covered with vines and claws to show the connection with nature.

Description: Badb, Macha, Morrigan, or collectively known as The Crow Goddess are three minds that inhabit one body. The Morrigan was worshiped and feared throughout the Celtic kingdoms as the Goddess of Death and Destruction. Once there had been three sisters: Macha, the Badb, and the Morrigan, but the others had disappeared over the years and the Morrigan reigned supreme. The Morrigan states that The Badb and The Macha now "live inside of her." In original empowered ★ handwritten typeface with pentacles.
