The remains of a capstan winch at the abandoned Sikehead Lead Mine located at Burnhope, County Durham. The winch stands at the top of the Ellen shaft where lead was hauled from the mine.

Grove Rake was a Fluorspar mine and is located on the moors above Rookhope in County Durham, close to the border of Northumberland. Abandoned in 1999, it fell into disrepair and the second tower has been stripped for scrap metal over the years.
