Description: 1 Chronicles 28:20 NLT “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don’t be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, is with you. He will not fail or forsake you.” I love this promise from God, but remember, it hinges upon us. We have to DO the work! Dear Lord, help us to do our part when it comes to the things you have set before us.
Description: Romans 12:1 “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God - this is your true and proper worship.” On this Memorial Day, please remember those that have sacrificed so much for us and our freedom. I pray that we would also remember that we are called to sacrifice our will for the will of God.
Description: Praise the Father, Praise the Son, Praise the Spirit = 3 in 1 2 Corinthians 13:14 “May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” Help us Lord to walk today in the ways that you had ordained for us at creation. Description: John 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” These are powerful words. Simply put, we must be grounded in Christ. If we are not connected to Him, our source of life, then we will not bear fruit. Dear Lord - Help us to remember that apart from you we are nothing. Let us remain closely linked to you so that we can do your will and be a Blessing to others.

Allow the Lord to be Your Everything!
Description: Psalm 148:3 says “...praise him all you shining stars”. And Psalm 147:4-5 reminds us that “He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name. Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.” I pray that when we look up into the night sky we will marvel at God’s amazing creation. That we will get a glimpse of how big He is and how small we are.
Description: Jeremiah 29:11 “I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future.” He’s not done with me yet. There’s so much more to my story… I pray that we do not lose hope but instead hold fast to our faith in knowing that God has more for us.
Description: The new testament was written in Greek and tetelestai is the Greek word for “It is finished”. This is what Jesus said when he gave up his spirit on the cross for you and me. There is great comfort for us in the finality of that statement. Thank you Jesus that because of what you did for us on the cross, our sins are covered and the power of death is forever broken!
Description: Psalm 24:1-2 “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters.” My prayer is that we would remember that He’s got the whole world in His hands and that we would be good stewards of what he has Blessed us with!
