Description: I have no idea what this one is. From the printed design I would say I picked this up from a vendor who occasionally was at Camp Victory. It could have been some special commando unit for all I know.

Description: Although one of the smaller contingents which participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom the Estonians were responsible for some of the rougher neighborhoods in Baghdad while I was there and provided staff officers at MNCI as well. I got this patch at the local souk... must have been enough being bought to make it worth their while.

Description: This patch is for Baghdad International, or BIAP as it was known to the men and women who served there. BIAP was used for both civil and military traffic and was the gateway to other countries in the Middle East or to short=haul trips to Mosul or Basrah as needed.

Description: This one is just what it says it is: the 302nd Bn of the 40th Bde of the Iraqi Defense Forces. I don't recall if this is a particularly unimaginative unit patch or if this was supposed to be a standardized design for all units.

Description: A unit of the Iraqi Defense Forces, I have no idea what this unit's true designation is but obviously it is copying U.S. Army convention with its triangle-and-title design and unit number at the peak. Picked this one up because I liked it.

Description: Back in the day the Tadjikh Highway Patrol monitored road traffic in Soviet Central Asia, looking for spies and counterrevolutionaries infiltrating from Afghanistan. It was not unknown for them to team up with the KGB.

Description: This is the first design for the Executive Flight Detachment, as designed by Walt Disney. The detachment was responsible for flying the President to and from the White House before the Marines got into the business...

Description: Before there was Marine One there was the Executive Flight Detachment, The U.S. Army's helicopter unit to support the White House. This patch harkens back to those days, featuring the Presidential Seal.

Description: Once again, another souvenir magnet. This one of course has an image of one of the arms of the Iraqi Victory Monument which was in the heart of the Green Zone.

Description: I must have picked this up at the souk. Part of the "Magnets of the Global War on Terror."
