The large shapes have come from the small ones down in the corner. The way Creation happens, we small particles down in the corner, are becoming more than what we know yet.
Description: The making process is seen here. It almost looks like it is churning and flowing before our eyes. Energetic brushstrokes create a sense of movement. It is like a close up of what is happening in all Creation and what we can feel happening inside us if we stop and quiet our attention to the Greater Reality.
Description: While contemplating life and growth the lines I drew formed the image of a tree which emerged from the dark ground and grew toward the light. This illustrates my blog post for April 2026 on horizongate.org. The colorful tree stands against a dynamic purple and blue background, its branches twisting and turning giving a sense of movement and energy.

Description: A tightly integrated collection of organic shapes with a wide array of colors seems to float in dark, nebulous space. Whether we are scattered elements in an asteroid traveling to it’s merger with others, or crude creatures experimenting with empire, we are on our way and the Will continues to form us from the Big Bang to the Body Universe.
Description: Dynamic, swirling lines and vibrant colors intertwine, creating an energetic and complex abstract composition. Formation is not simple and we often do not look pretty in the process, but the One who forms us looks closely and loves the beauty most do not see.

Description: Here they go, out to party pretending to be independent individuals when actually they are as connected as object and shadow. A primitive mix of colors and lines creates a dynamic, abstract pattern on a soft blue background. The central black shape is accented by vibrant hues like yellow, red, and purple, contrasting against the muted tones surrounding it.
Description: Contemplating the nebulae of deep space I remember earth and all of us came from the eons of compression and mixing of all the elements needed to make us able to think about it. Vivid splashes of color blend seamlessly into an abstract composition, with shades of yellow, blue, and red creating dynamic contrasts.
Description: Like an alien writing a message in their own symbols and language, I moved my Apple Pencil over my iPad Pro expressing my inner impulses. To me the result shows my kinship with nature and the cosmos resembling an infrared view of a deep space nebula with roots. Zoom in to explore the intriguing textures and lines meandering like roots underground.
Description: This is the transparent version of "Related Separated", the composition I created then divided like we dissect the whole Creation for control and manipulation. Most do not remember that nothing is actually disconnected. This art reminds us we are still part of each other and can come together. See its companion piece “Diversity Joined”.

Description: This poem contemplates the past, the moving present and the future. It is a hope and a faith statement with a prayer for all the details of life to work together for good purpose. Written in my personal devotions early in the morning, it's letters eventually became the grid for this collage of marks, and images of past moments with children, grandmother, beloved old buildings, ocean waves breaking on the rocks, my wife looking very tiny under a very tall tree among the rock walls of Zion National Park and other beautiful compositions which you will discover as you explore the intricacies of this composition. Description: Walking down to Green Valley Falls in the dry season the amber grass and grey branches made infinite compositions with the black speckled pink and white granite boulders. This is one composition which caught me and which I have processed digitally so as to show the composition more clearly.
Description: I walked searching out the beauty where I grew up in San Diego beside this tide pool on the edge of the continent. Here is a moment in time when the shapes, lines and rhythms of life are frozen for us to contemplate. I am always awestruck to see the basis of all art in Nature, the lines that direct my eye, the shapes arranged in relationships which tug ineffably to something in my soul. I find the subtle and the dramatic contrasts between light and dark reveal building blocks of Creation and therefore a kinship between myself and the elements in this image. The faithful, long-term work of the water shaping the rocks gives me perspective on my place in time. The understated colors remind me of the confidence I can have to be who I am ...
