Description: Vik Records was a subsidiary of RCA Victor Records established in April 1953. In the Billboard issue of the 11th of that month, it was announced that RCA was launching, namelessly, a new label that was the company's first to be distributed independently. Billboard opted to use the name Label "X" for the new company. The name was kept, as the label began to hire a series of staffers and decide on a direction. Label X was officially formed on April 20, 1953. Though wholly owned and operated by RCA, it had its own independent distribution. Joe Carlton was the head of the new company. RCA spent the rest of the year trying to establish an identity for "X", eventually settling on cover records of R&B hits and quasi-R&B sides.

One of the label's earliest releases was a jazz album called Memories Of "Jolie" by 'Morty Craft & His Singing Strings'. Herbie Hancock's first appearance on record was for Warwick on an album with Donald Byrd and Pepper Adams. The label's catalogue also included albums by Ralph Burns, Teddy Charles, and Curtis Fuller. Warwick also released the single "Dream Alone"/"Beat Love" by the then relatively unknown Art Garfunkel under the name Artie Garr. Jerry Murad's Harmonicats were on Wing soon after quitting Vitacoustic Records in 1948. In 1996, Wing closed and its remaining artists (Vanessa Williams & Tony! Toni! Toné!) were moved to Mercury.

While his father spared him this treatment, he would beat him for asking too many questions, and constantly berated him in front of customers when apprenticing him at his soba tavern. It is unknown what happened to Ringo's mother, who is never shown, but she has presumably died by the series' start.
Description: A group of renegade Stalkers unaffiliated with any major faction, as well as cast-outs from other factions, they act as warbands and gangs instead. Although acting in the same way as Bandits by robbing and exploiting stalkers, the renegades are not under any formal leadership. The Renegade faction eventually dissolved after S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, which is why they are non-existent in Shadow of Chernobyl and Call of Pripyat.
