Description: The Villa Traub is a villa in the Střešovice district of Prague built for the leather manufacturer Edmund Traub in 1928/29 according to plans by Bruno Paul in the architectural style of Classical Modernism . The Traub family of Jewish manufacturers fled to London after Prague was occupied by the National Socialists . After the Second World War, the villa was nationalized and was the seat of diplomatic missions in the post-war period , including: the commercial representation of the GDR in the CSSR .
Description: Lecco railway station is the main station serving the town and comune of Lecco, in the region of Lombardy, northern Italy. Opened in 1863, it is the terminus of five lines, namely to Bergamo, to Como, to Milan, to Molteno and Monza and to Tirano. The station is currently managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI). However, the commercial area of the passenger building is managed by Centostazioni. Each of these companies is a subsidiary of Ferrovie dello Stato (FS), Italy's state-owned rail company. Train services are operated by regional railway company Trenord.

Description: The Canadian Pacific Railway, also known simply as CPR or Canadian Pacific and formerly as CP Rail (1968–1996), was a Canadian Class I railway incorporated in 1881. The railway was owned by Canadian Pacific Railway Limited, which began operations as legal owner in a corporate restructuring in 2001. Headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, the railway owned approximately 20,100 kilometres of track in seven provinces of Canada and into the United States, stretching from Montreal to Vancouver, and as far north as Edmonton.

Description: The brewery did well in the 1930s and 1940s. It was a regional beer judging from where their cans have been dumped, mostly southern California and Arizona. Zobelein died in 1936 and his son took over the brewery. They introduced cans in 1937 choosing flat tops such as my can-of-the-month above. They sold Eastside Beer, Eastside Ale, and in 1939 introduced a premium beer called Luxury Extra Dry Pilsner. Eastside Beer remained their big seller however. (Eastside Ale cans are quite scarce and Luxury was never canned). They also canned Brown Derby Beer for Safeway stores in the 1930s.

Description: Dieu et mon droit, which means 'God and my right', is the motto of the monarch of the United Kingdom. It appears on a scroll beneath the shield of the version of the coat of arms of the United Kingdom. The motto is said to have first been used by Richard I (1157–1199) as a battle cry and presumed to be a reference to his French ancestry (indeed he spoke French and Occitan but knew only basic English) and the concept of the divine right of the monarch to govern. It was adopted as the royal motto of England by King Henry V (1386–1422) with the phrase "and my right" referring to his claim by descent to the French crown.
Description: The original company produced bicycles until 1969, where-upon the Magneet company was bought out by the larger Dutch manufacturer Batavus, the spelling of which I believe I have just mangled badly. Batavus produced bikes under the Magneet name until about 1972. Most of the Magneets were city bikes.

Description: Mirro Aluminum Company’s roots began in 1893 when Two Rivers’ Joseph Koenig traveled to the Columbian Exposition in Chicago where products were displayed made of aluminum. Henry Vits, from Manitowoc, set up a shop to manufacture aluminum products at the same time. A brandline of pots and pans was created using the founders’ names: ‘VI’ from Vits and ‘KO’ from Koenig formed the “VIKO” brand. By 1915 the company received its first contract for automobile hub caps.
