Description: This ivy, turned orange in autumn's cooler temperatures, captured my attention during an afternoon walk through Brooklyn. By the next year, someone had cut down all of the ivy, so I am glad I made this photo when I did.

Description: Roosevelt Island in the East River of NYC is full of cherry blossoms in the spring. This shot shows the east side of midtown Manhattan from beneath a blooming tree. I spent an afternoon on Roosevelt Island enjoying and photographing the blossoms, and this is one of my favorite shots from that day.
