Description: I’ve always loved Chinese egg tarts, especially the ones with the flaky crust over the ones with the crumbly crust. The egg custard is just delectable. Portuguese egg tarts are not so bad either. Whenever I go to an Asian supermarket, I have to resist the urge to bring some home. Anyway, here is another ode to a a Chinese treat.

Egg tarts are a Chinese bakery staple, and the scrambled egg sandwich with soft silky scrambled egg and noodles are very common in Hong Kong style cafes (cha chaan teng).
