Description: A slow loris taking a slow stroll through the surreal version of Denver. This painting was inspired by watching all these adorable videos of slow lorises being stroked and petted ever so gently as they hold tiny umbrellas. And the background is a variation of a picture of a parking lot in Denver Colorado that I took. Description: This particular piece was very cathartic when I pieced it together. It was after a long run of pet portraits and political paintings so it was nice to kind of just let the creative process take over. It’s basically a few of my favorite things thrown together. 70s fashion photography, penwork, big red circle ?, decoupage, and a Dilophosaurus. I drew the Dino in a style that I really enjoy which is looking at a source image but not looking down at the canvas. Just trusting your hand to go where it goes.
