Description: Are you getting closer and closer to God? James 4:8 tells us “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” Today, make some time for God. Tell Him your hopes and fears and your concerns. Thank Him for His Blessings. Most importantly, be still and LISTEN for Him to direct you. God wants you to draw near to Him and he greatly desires to restore your soul. God seeks to Bless You so that you can in turn Be a Blessing to Others!

The great theologian, Rocky Balboa, gives us some good advice about this: “It ain’t about how hard you hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.” When you find yourself in a difficult situation, press on. When you make a mistake, get up, dust yourself off and keep moving forward. Read the story of the Healing Pool in John chapter 5. Jesus asks, “Do you want to get well?” and then in verse 8 Jesus says, “Get up!”
