So he had to continue to slog it our with his super-renowned orchestra...look at that face! One can just imagine him as an accidental 'rock-star' of his time. Firpo was among the first innovators of the classic tango music genre. He was the creator of the standard tango sextet, and the establisher of the piano in the tango orchestra. He was the first to play 'La Cumparsita'! For me, it's interesting that he's considered 'conservative' as an Orquesta leader. If you listen to some of his milongas, you'd think they were recorded by a gang of methed-up ...

He was son of Italian immigrants and used more modern arrangements and instrumentation; his popular group produced hundreds of recordings. Description: Miguel Caló (1907-1972) was a famous tango bandoneonist, composer, and the leader of the Orchestra Miguel Caló. This is for printing on dark t-shirts!

Description: D'Agostino (1900-1991) was a Buenos Aires character, and tango was not his only world. A skilled gambler and stubborn bachelor, he played poker at the Club del Progreso (a club where high society people used to go) and he had a close friendship with Enrique Cadícamo. About this relationship there is a curious story that portrays him completely. Cadícamo and D'Agostino had promised each other to never marry; they were playboys and bohemians and did not even think of being tied to a permanent link. But Cadícamo, after his fifty years of age, broke his word and married a twenty-year old girl. Since then D'Agostino never again talked to him... Since this prints in white, choose a dark t-shirt!
