Original concept by Avraham Aldema. Public domain. Avraham Aldema (1884-1963) was born in Berdichev, Russian Empire. He made Aliyah in 1906, working as a graphic designer and art teacher at Gymnasia Herzliya in Tel Aviv. The poster features clean, stylized modernist graphics, simplified forms, and a limited high-contrast color palette. It combines Jewish elements with the symbols of Carnival. Using a variety of graphic design tools, I created a restored and enlarged reproduction of this historical Israeli poster, based on a rare photo of the original poster in an archive.
