The fierce pinnacle moment of pure paternal instinct; the raw emotion of protecting one's family (blood or not) is intense and the most genuine real feeling there is in this crazy world. In other words, LOVE. Not everyone will have the luxury of feeling this towards or from a loved one.... but I think LOVE is a survival instinct.
