Description: God sent us His greatest gift over 2000 years ago. Accept Him. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” I pray that we would all realize what an amazing gift Jesus is to us and to this world!
Description: Hebrews 10:24-25 reminds us how important it is to assemble. It tells us to not give up meeting together but rather to encourage one another toward love and good deeds. Go to church, where you can grow and learn and be challenged. Go to church, where you can also be a Blessing to others. Go to church and Be the church. I pray that we would all get involved in a bible believing and preaching church that impacts its congregation and its community.
Description: Luke 2:10-12 “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.” I pray that we would thank God for the gift of Jesus all year long!
Description: Jesus said to those that were questioning his authority, as recorded in John 8:58 - “...before Abraham was born, I am.” He was, and is and is to come. He was there at the beginning and He will be there at the end! I pray that we would grab ahold of the importance of this statement by Jesus; “I am.”
Description: “You alone are my anchor - when my sails are torn. Your love surrounds me - in the eye of the storm.” I love these words from the Ryan Stevenson song Eye of the Storm. Hebrews 6:19 helps us to understand that our hope in the Lord is like an anchor that is holding firm and keeping us secure, no matter what is happening around us. I pray that we would remember our anchor in Jesus when we feel the effects of the storms of life.
Description: Mornings can be tough, but here is something to smile about! Lamentations 3:22-23 “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” I pray that each morning we would face the new day with the hope of the Lord.
Description: Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” The light inside you should be visible for all to see. I pray that we would let the light of the world shine in us and through us.
Description: This design is inspired by the Switchfoot song: This is your life. What you do and how you live your life is up to you. Please remember the words of 1 Peter 4:8 “...love covers a multitude of sins.” I pray that we would have the strength through Christ to overcome our shortcomings and trust in Him to cleanse us and guide us.
Description: Proverbs 26:16 “For though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again, but the wicked are brought down by calamity.” Getting back up after a fall is not enough to turn your mess into a message. You must repent and turn from your ways. I pray that God will use what we have been through to help us to be a Blessing to others.
Description: Romans 10:9 “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Thank you Lord that I have the Jesus Believer Stamp of Approval. Although it is free, it certainly came at a cost. I pray that we would all seek this stamp of approval and live our lives accordingly.
Description: Luke 21:26-28 “...the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory…straighten up…because your redemption is drawing near.” I pray that we would be alert and be about our Father’s business, because the day of Christ’s return is drawing near!
Description: Psalm 100 - “Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.” I pray that you would make the words of Psalm 100 your prayer today and everyday!
Description: Eye of the Storm is a great song by Ryan Stevenson that you have got to hear. Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” I pray we remember that God is in control and that we would turn it all over to Him!
Description: Genesis 8:11 “When the dove returned to him in the evening, there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf! Then Noah knew that the water had receded from the earth.” I pray that when we face a flood in our lives, the Holy Spirit will give us peace and hope for a new beginning.
Description: Revelation 4:10-11 “...fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever… lay (your) crown before the throne and say: “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things…” I pray that we would submit our lives to the one true King.
Description: This design is inspired by the line for the David Crowder Band’s song “Wholly Yours”. It speaks of redemption. Out of brokenness God desires to bring about healing and beauty. Psalm 147:3 “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” I pray that you would trust the Lord to make everything work for good in your life.
Description: Ephesians 2:8-9 reminds us that: “It is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.” So, what is faith? “Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 I pray that we would live by faith and trust in God today.
